Family Day for Pride
Love is Enough
OFF SITE
Saturday 11 July 2026
Welcoming storyteller Luke Saydon for an imaginative celebration of self‑love, authenticity, and the empowering message that love is enough.
Join us for a special Family Day as part of Waltham Forest Pride 2026, with storyteller Luke Saydon.
While renovation work is underway at the Gallery, our Summer Programme is taking place beyond its walls—this event will be held at Vestry House Museum, ahead of its official re-opening in the Autumn.
Step into a world of imagination where storytelling, creativity, and colour come together to explore one powerful message: love is enough. Inspired by William Morris’s poem and his love of nature and design, this year’s Pride celebration invites families to discover what it means to be true to yourself.
Through interactive storytelling, movement, and creative play, Luke will share an uplifting original story created especially for this event — a joyful tale about finding confidence, embracing who you are, and celebrating the things that make each of us unique.
After the story, take part in a hands on art activity where children can create their own self portrait to add to a collaborative artwork, centred around the words LOVE IS ENOUGH.
FREE but booking is essential. Choose from the following sessions:
- 12:30pm
- 1:30pm
- 2:30pm
Please book for each child and each adult attending.
We welcome all LGBTQIA+ families, friends, and allies.
