This month, in celebration of the festival of Diwali and Bonfire Night, we're going to be exploring the use of light in arts and crafts. We'll take a look at William Morris' stained glass designs and the recreation of Stanisław Wyspiański’s stained glass for our Young Poland exhibition. We'll then use this inspiration to make some colourful paper lanterns with a stained glass effect to light up our homes.

Each session will have the following schedule:

- Session themed self-led play

- Exploring the gallery

- Getting messy with arts and crafts

- Singing

Please note: This month's sessions will have slightly different times to our usual ones. There are two 1hour and 15min sessions at 10am and 12pm. Please register for one session only. Please register a place for each adult and child attending, e.g. if there is one adult and two children you will need three places.

Our new exhibition, Young Poland - An Arts & Crafts Movement (1890 - 1918) runs from October 9th 2021 to 30th January 2022.
