This design for a five light window was an unexceuted design by Christopher Whall in 1921 for St. Leonard Church, Middleton, Lancashire. The first and fifth panel depict the story of Psalm 107 with small subject panels, where sailors go out to sea and are humbled by the power of a storm, they then call out to Jesus who calms the storm. The middle panel depict Jesus’ Ascension with Fides and Spes either side of Him. There is quarry glazing above and below.
