This textile design by Century Guild designer Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo features a crowned bird with artichoke leaves. The Century Guild monogram ‘CG’ is incorporated into the design in the top centre. A version of this design was produced as a printed cotton, see F89 also in the collection.
