This bust of William Morris was given to Walthamstow Central Library in 1900 by Jonathan Passmore Edwards, a British journalist and philanthropist. It was unveiled by the Pre-Raphaelite artist William Holman Hunt. The bust was given to the William Morris Gallery in 1950.
