One of two stained glass panels with ‘Angel with Censer’ C205b. Louis Davis often collaborated with Thomas Cowell in the creation of stained glass windows. Over the years, the two developed a close working relationship and when Cowell came to decorate his Surbiton home with panels of stained glass, he chose to make versions of some of Davis’s church windows. The Angels in these panels are from Davis’s designs for a window at St.Anselm’s Church, Hatch End, Middlesex.
