Designed by Morris & Co. for Balmoral Castle in 1887. The design consists of a formal net pattern incorporating a thistle and royal cypher ‘V.R.I.’. This example was reprinted by Sanderson’s for the redecoration of Balmoral Castle. Repeat size: 38.1 x 30.5 cm. Stamped in flock on right margin: ‘MORRIS & Co’.
