At the Gallery
Lloyd Park
A visit to William Morris Gallery wouldn’t be complete without a walk in Lloyd Park. The park was originally the garden and grounds surrounding Morris’ childhood home; an inspiration for his love of nature. A beautiful William Morris contemporary garden just behind the house includes many of the plants which feature in his designs.
Garden volunteers
Every Thursday from 10am to 1pm, a group of volunteers work together in the William Morris Garden at Lloyd Park. They participate in a wide variety of gardening tasks that ensure the space is kept looking happy, healthy and beautiful all year round. As well as contributing to the upkeep and maintenance of a valued local green space, this is an opportunity for people to enjoy being outdoors, gain gardening and horticulture skills, meet new people, feel part of their community and improve their health and wellbeing.
If you would like to register your interest, please email lloydpark.vols@groundwork.org.uk or call Emily on 0791 227 1961.
