‘Le Remouleur, No. 1’. Etched from life at Ditchling, Sussex. Another, enlarged, version, ‘The Knife Grinder, No. 2’ (‘Le Remouleur, No. 2’) drypoint etching on zinc 20.2 x 30cm. showing a crowd of figures behind the knife grinder’s barrow was also etched from life at Ditchling in 1924 (Gaunt 312).
