These tiles are an early tile design by Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co, first developed c.1860-62 for a fireplace for a private house, The Hill, Surrey. The tiles are 6 inches with leaves and berries tile painted in soft blue on a white ground with yellow accent. The Leaves and Berry design was commercially available after this commission and this version was possibly manufactured c.1862-1870s. Another set from a house in Cambridge are in the V&A (C.72 to 79-2005)
