Designed by William Morris in 1876, his daughter May Morris described Honeysuckle as ‘the most truely “Morrisian” in character of all his-pattern making in later life”. The pattern combines four of his favourite flowers for pattern making- crown imperial, tulip, honeysuckle and fritillary, which overlay a dense background of yew.
