Plaster bust of William Morris, formerly on display in the William Morris Hall, Somers Road, Walthamstow. The hall was financed by local subscription and erected by voluntary labour in 1909 by members of the William Morris Co-operative Society as a “home” for the Socialist/Trades Union/Co-Operative movement in Walthamstow. After the hall closed in 1980, the bust was lent to William Morris School. It was given to the Gallery in 1989.
