Retail and Commercial Development Volunteer

The aim of this role is to support the Retail and Commercial Development Assistant. Retail and Commercial Development looks specifically at raising revenue for the museum and gallery to fund its exhibitions and free family programmes. We are recruiting a volunteer to help support the research and administration the project needs to make it a success. This role would suit someone interested in retail and e-commerce, and fundraising and sustainability for the arts or heritage.

 

Museum and Gallery Volunteer Invigilators

The aim of this public facing voluntary role is to support the Front of House Team and support the Visitor Support Assistants in maintaining the security of the exhibitions and the safety of the public whilst enhancing experience through audience engagement. Gallery Invigilators provide essential and valued support.

 

William Morris Gallery Young Producers

The William Morris Gallery Young Producers are a group of 16 to 25 year old’s who collaborate with the William Morris Gallery to produce, curate, organise and host events for young people at the Gallery and within the London Borough of Waltham Forest. The group meets twice a month throughout the year to discuss and plan for future projects.

The Young Producers get the opportunity work with artists and creative professionals and visit exhibitions across London. The Young Producers are currently working in collaboration with Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019, on Creative Pathways. Creative Pathways is a series of networking events for young people interested in pursuing a career within the Arts.

If you wish to apply to volunteer with us you will need to complete an online application form based on a specific role that has been advertised. If you meet the basic requirements for the role you will have an informal conversation with a member of staff about your application before we allocate the teams.
